Entrepreneurial Training Program
The Entrepreneurial Training Program (ETP) is a course offered through the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) providing prospective and existing business owners with expert guidance through business plan development. Coursework addresses legal and financial issues, staffing, accounting, record-keeping and marketing. Participants receive individual counseling and coaching on writing a complete business plan, preparing them to request financing from banks, investors and public institutions. Participants can receive a grant to help cover a portion of the cost of attending an ETP course. Eligible tuition costs are limited to the tuition charged by the SBDC. The maximum funding available is 75% of eligible tuition costs. Participants will be required to provide a cash match of at least 25% of the eligible tuition costs. For more information, please view the detailed description of the ETP program (PDF). To apply for ETP funding, please complete the Online Application. You may also download the application in Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format.
